Medical Director, Foundation Pain and Spine
Dr. Thompson is a Native Texan. He attended medical school at University of Texas Southwestern and then completed his residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Baylor University in Dallas. He then went on to do specialty training in interventional spine and pain management at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Thompson has special expertise in treating chronic pain without requiring the use of high-dose opioids as well as with opiate addiction. Whether it is snow skiing or performing surgery, Dr. Thompson is living proof that there is no activity in life that cannot be achieved when pain is gone.
Nurse Practitioner
Kaitlin Blalock was born and raised in Mount Pleasant, Texas where she graduated high school and obtained her Associates Degree in Nursing. Kaitlin then furthered her education and graduated from Texas Tech University with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. For over a decade Kaitlin worked in the Emergency Department where she was able to enhance her knowledge in acute care. She then decided to pursue her Masters Degree in Nursing at Walden University and became a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Kaitlin began her role as an NP in nonsurgical age-reversing aesthetics, weight loss and wellness. She continues to enjoy utilizing the aesthetic world to practice physical enhancement, rejuvenation and the preservation of a patient's natural beauty. Kaitlin also has a strong passion for addiction medicine and is committed to providing high-quality care to patients experiencing issues with substance abuse disorder. She believes in a future for her patients in which addiction prevention, treatment and remission with recovery are accessible to all to improve their quality of life.
